2018 Jinnobi Challenge

Hi everyone!!! I thought I should let you guys all know super early about the Jinnobi Challenge. I had such fun running 2017’s challenge (for last year’s master list of submissions, click here), and I really can’t wait to see what will be submitted during the 2nd annual challenge.

So here’s the rundown of information for those who are thinking of participating in the challenge (I will repost this info periodically as it gets closer to the challenge).

When is it?: The challenge will run from October 1 – October 28, 2018. Any Jinnobi work you submit must be complete and it must be submitted sometime during October 1 – October 28. You have from now until October to work on submissions. PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR SUBMISSION BEFORE THE CHALLENGE STARTS.

Who can enter: The challenge is open to writers, artists and everyone in between. Art, poetry, photo manips, videos, gifsets, fanfiction, it’s all welcome. There’s no theme except it has to be Obi-Wan Kenobi/Qui-Gon Jinn. It can be set during the prequels, the originals, or an AU. It’s up to you. You can submit multiple entries too, if you’d like. For fic writers there’s no limit on how long or short your fic(s) is/are.

How to enter: Send me a message on here, or this email: bluegreensaber@gmail.com, letting me know you intend to participate.

Once October 1st comes around you’re welcome to post whatever you have on whatever social network or fanfiction site you are comfortable using. Please tag your work (if you can tag) with the tag Jinnobi Challenge, whether it’s a fic, art, or a post.

Message me with a link to your work (or links, if you submit more than one work), once you’ve published it, so I can put your work on the master list.

Besides email, I can also be reached on A03, livejournal, dreamwidth, and DeviantArt, but I tend to check email and tumblr much more regularly so if you want a fast response, I recommend contacting me via that.

Rules:
1. No underage jinnobi slash.
2. If you post anything triggering, please tag it with the appropriate warnings
3. Your fic must have a rating on it (the challenge is open to all ratings)
4. If you’re posting a long WIP, the first chapter must be posted on or after October 1, and the last chapter has to be posted before October 28, so I don’t recommend it unless you know you can get it done in that time.

Need Beta?: If you need a beta, let me know. Last year I had a few people who were interested in betaing, I can’t be sure if it will be the same this year but I can help get the word out if someone is looking. At this present time, I’m not able to beta for others, but please message me if you have any questions about the challenge as I want to keep improving this challenge for the following year.

By the first week of November, I’ll put up a master post with links to all the amazing stuff everyone has created!!!

F*ckYeahDarcyLewis – Cool For The Summer – A Darcyland Vacation Challenge

When: From  Wednesday, August 1st  to Sunday, August 12, 2018.

What:  Hello, Darcylanders! I’m happy to officially announce a new challenge (I know, it’s been suuuuch a long time since I made one, what can I say? life was pretty crazy this past year for me!). Each day will have a different prompt. It’s up to you to create something and post it to your blog. Your work can be classified as general, without any ship but it can, of course, contain whatever ship you want. As usual, we multiship in this fandom! But remember, the goal is to create something about Darcy.

For this challenge, you can draw, write, GIF, edit, mood board, whatever suits your fancy, your fave on vacation!

Here’s the theme: Summer Vacations.

How:  Make sure to tag your contributions with “darcy lewis” (it needs to be on your first 5 tags for it to be found). Don’t repost somebody else works, put triggers warning on your posts if it needs to be done, put the NSFW or too long works under a cut. Don’t bash other characters.
