reverse star wars au: Luke and Leia are raised and trained by Darth Vader. Vader sends Luke to rescue his sister from the rebel alliance. Luke pretends to be a spoiled son of a high up imperial officer trying to save a “princess” for an adventure. He hires Han to help him sneak into the rebellion to find Leia. On the way they pick up Obi-wan who recognizes Luke. Despite what he’s been told about Kenobi Luke thinks Obi-Wan can get him into the rebellion. adventure happens. Leia may have run away.

Leia leaving the Empire because she disagrees with it, and Vader assuming she’s been kidnapped? Gosh. Yes.

Luke being this mega-extra dude handy with a lightsaber deciding he has to go save his sister because, sure, they’re a Dark Side Family, but they still stick together damnit.

Han and Chewie being coerced by this wimpy-looking blonde 19 year old into taking him to the Rebellion only for said 19 year old to turn into an absolute death machine with a lightsaber.

LUKE BEING THE ONE TO FIND OBI-WAN AFTER VADER SPENT ALMOST TWO DECADES LOOKING FOR HIM! HAHA. I imagine that maybe Leia got a hold of him when she was questioning the Dark Side, and Obi-Wan was like “Here’s the address for the Rebel Alliance, my dear.” only for Leia’s secret transmissions or some shit to be traced back to Obi-Wan and, damn, he’s been caught.

Obi-Wan wiping the floor with a frustrated Luke. Lmao, Anakin was a crummy teacher.

Luke using the puppy dog eyes to convince Obi-Wan he wants to join the Rebels but in actuality he’s still sending transmissions to Vader. Obi-Wan falling for it like a fucking sap. Now Han has to deal with a murderous Sith and his weird wizard grandpa while also evading both Imperials and Rebels and, fuck, he needs Space Xanax stat.

But then!! Oh, then. They get to the Rebel Alliance, Leia and Luke have a badass lightsaber fight that basically degrades into a sibling rivalry argument and Luke nearly crying because Leia just left them and Dad is so worried and Leia being all, “Dude Dad is helping to build a giant planet-killer. I like planets. Calm tf down and turn to the good side.” And Luke starts to actually turn to the Light Side and junk because Leia is persuasive as hell.

Fast forward to when they have to confront Vader and Vader ends up turning to the Light Side too because he can’t kill his kids, darn it.

Also, Leia and Han end up dating. I’m sure that isn’t terrifying what with Vader and an overprotective Sith Luke hovering around. Smh.

Oh and Vader and Obi-Wan can make up. I want this au to be happy.
