Random Obi sketches done while watching Clone Wars and being fed headcanons by commonplacecaz.
Got a little excitable re: costume design on the top right. I just wanted to use Han Solo’s belt and holster somewhere, on something.
So happy I got to draw her and some other amazing characters in the book, this project was an absolute joy to be a part of. Thank you @chroniclebooks and @starwars!
The bounty on the Duchess of Mandalore may seem tempting, but since the Jedi became involved, she’s very closely guarded.
(I feel like a cheated a little today by leaving my pencil lines. I’m committed to using ink in some way in all of my inktober projects, but I kinda needed a reprieve from the stress of inking hard lines, and I liked this sketch too much to ruin it)
“Remember, my dear Obi-Wan, I’ve loved you always. I always will.” ~ Duchess Satine Kryze of Mandalor
I will never get over Obi-Wan and Satine’s story, so I spent about 15 hours on this. First time coloring my art on photoshop!
day 13: mandalorian
listen i know we all love obi-wan in armour, but if obi-wan was already on mandalore he could have tal merrick’s job and fancy cape, and there would be one less person attempting to overthrow satine’s government from the inside. featuring i got halfway through colouring before i realized i forgot to ink one of obi-wan’s hands.
A style experiment using some of my favorite Star Wars characters. I don’t know why Obi-Wan is so surly today. He’s also kind of glaring straight at the viewer. Yikes. Qui-Gon is… I don’t know… Quietly amused? And Satine is completely oblivious to the moods of the two Jedi next to her. Probably getting another anti-violence argument ready for the next time the two Jedi have to ignite their lightsabers to protect her from bounty hunters.
